Longer waits in line at Phoenix stores have tried my ability to reject impulse items. Usually, I reserve these kinds of excesses for when I’m on vacation, but BSD and I found a couple of new offerings that were simply irresistible. The first was Coconut M&Ms which are only a limited edition and I hope they become a permanent fixture in their already long and diverse candy coated line-up.
The other great candy I found was Snickers Peanut Butter Squared at Target. These were 39 cents, two to a wrapper, and just a tad smaller than a regular size bar. I have always been a fan of 5th Avenue, PB Max, Reese’s anythings. Not to mention Snickers which I consider to be the ultimate candy bar. We were about to go see Super 8 so I grabbed it to take in with us. When I got to it it I was struck with a lightning bolt of nostalgia. I thought I was eating a PB Max. It was excellent. It’s better than just peanut butter and chocolate. It takes the combination to it’s maximum potential.
I don’t think they make PB Max anymore and I wonder if Snickers pulled a Slugworth. It’s nice to see this type of item back on the candy rack though.

I’m a die hard Snickers fan. Cold, warm with a fork. But I do not like this new Snickers with the peanut butter.
Our Walmart was handing samples of these the other day……..so good. Then he handed me a $1 off coupon……so good. I got a small bag for like .76………so good.
Personally, I loved this way better than regular Snickers. I will for sure buy this again and again and again….you get the picture. (*-*)
I’ll have to try them since Snickers is my all time favorite!! BTW, you’re a GREAT writer, Mr. Savvy!!
