No one wants to waste money on food. I absolutely love this tip – keep celery in a plastic bag wrapped in aluminum foil. The celery will keep crisp for a really long time.

If it or any other leafy veggies start loosing their crispness, you can also soak them in cold water to revive them. It works well with green onion stalks too!

You can also do the classic trick to crisp up limp celery- cut off a bit of the ends, place in a jar of cool water and wait for the celery to soak it up and plump back up!

You don’t even need a plastic bag. Just wrap the celery in foil and it will stay crisp for weeks. I learned this years ago via Martha Stewart.

You can also grow your own by cutting off the bottom and planting it in a pot.And don’t throw away the leaves, they can be dried, crushed and added to foods later.
