I understand why I’m not supposed to put tomatoes in the fridge, but I find that they go bad so much faster if I leave them out that it really is worth the lack of a little bit of the quality. Is there a special way I’m supposed to be storing them so that they keep longer? (in Oregon this wasn’t a problem, but when I moved to a more humid climate they would go bad after about two days sitting out on my counter top).
I don’t believe this. My citrus fruits have the same powerful scent and taste way better when refrigerated… I think this is personal preference. Also, fruits & tomatoes last longer when refrigerated than at room temp. Just saying.
