Does it matter if its white or red vinegar?

If you have a tough clog, add a tablespoon or two of baking soda first, then pour the vinegar…let it sit for 15 -30 minutes and then flush with hot water, amazing!
Side benefit to this method: If any baking soda remains, it makes for an awesome cleaning agent to just wipe up your sink!

I forgot to mention, this is like a mini volcano, pour vinegar slowly, it fizzes up a lot!

Another good use for vinegar is cleaning your shower head. Pour some white vinegar in a ziplock bag, put over the showerhead and secure with a rubberband. leave it for an hour or so and then take it off and rinse off with a cup of water. it gets all the hard water and mineral stuff out of your showerhead and helps the water flow better. :)

Don’t forget you can use a plunger. I always wash & disinfect my plunger so it is always clean when I need one but I also have another one for sinks. Vinegar also helps get rid of odors.
