Budget Savvy Diva’s Fail

** Budget Savvy Diva’s Fail **

I just walked into the kitchen to get some water and I was met with this.

How lovely…

I had some dishes that I had pre – soaked and there must of been too much soap left on the dishes.

Whatever the reason I now will have the cleanest dishes and floor in the neighborhood ๐Ÿ˜‰

Now for a bowl of ice cream ๐Ÿ˜‰

I once put what I thought was dishwasher soap in with my dishes. Turned out it was regular soap. My floor looked quite like this haha

When my daughter was little she was trying to be helpful and do laundry for me when I was sick…. she used an ENTIRE bottle of dish soap in the washer…. flooded my laundry room and kitchen with soap and water….lol

My daughter put the purexx tabs in the dishwasher thinking it was something else and we too had this happen. Funny stuff!

Yep… Not too long ago I put a Tide pod into the dishwasher instead of a Cascade pac. The mess was so bad that it flooded into the basement.
At least I can laugh about it now ๐Ÿ™‚

I thought I was the only one who ever had that happen to! I put sink detergent in mine and same thing went back in the kitchen to go slip and sliding everywhere! Luckily I didn’t ruin my dishwasher

So far I’ve been lucky, but my g’f young daughter wanted to help mommy dust the furniture. Once finished.. prouder than a peacock, she couldn’t want to show her mommy. Instead of a nice shine…. the finish was removed from the coffee table. Daughter had used oven cleaner instead of furniture polish. Eeeek !!!!.

My washing machine decided that it time for me to clean behind it, it started to fill up with water, and continued to fill up thinking it didn’t quite have enough water when actually it has more than enough to flood the laundry room, kitchen, and started flooding the living room. Needless to say I’m taking up donations for a new washer…lol

I was going to soak my bathtub in hot water and Clorox one day last spring. I got sidetracked and went outside looking at the flowers. I had the cleanest floors in town that day !!

I have had this happen but not b/c of soap. It was with a dishwasher in our new house. Didn’t realize that with this one you couldn’t put stuff in the middle (where the sprayer comes up to spray all around). Well needless to say it took 4 adults to figure out why the dishwasher was leaking all the water. (if it can’t go up it just comes down and out). ๐Ÿ™‚

A month ago, I turned on the facet in my bathroom (to wash something) and walked away because one of my kids called me. I went back in about five minutes later to a flood. My bathroom floor was never cleaner.

Just moved into a brand new house and decided to fill up the bathtub to take a bath. The tub was just about full and I tried to turn the knob of hot water off….it just went around and around and would not shut off, there was no shut off valve underneath either, since the tub was already full and the water was coming out full force I was bailing water out of the tub with a bucket and dumping it into the shower we had to shut the water off to the entire house for the night…the next day we bought a shut off valve for it.

Loving the stories! Once I placed a bottle of tide on top of the washer and the vibrations sent it down behind the washer where it promptly busted. Heard it fall but was helpless as I watched the detergent pour out from under the washer and dryer. I still don’t think its all cleaned up.

I had a dishwashing fail this week. I was tired cleaning up after our 4th of July party and stuck big pan lids in the bottom rack of my dishwasher.

Well, they got lodged in there — long story short, I had to disassemble the dishwasher racks in order to get my clean dishes out!

I won’t be making that mistake again! lol
