Budget Savvy Diva Was On iVillage – Showing How To Frugally Personalized Plates

November 21, 2012

Hi y’all !!

A while ago ivillage came to me to give them my best idea on a holiday craft – I came up with personalized plates :) So simple and easy — it costs around $1.00 per plate! Check out my appearance on their web show :)

Here is the plate I personalized

I would love to hear what you think of this craft :)

I HAVE SEEN THIS ON PINTEREST BEFORE SO I AM DOING MY FIRST TRY THIS WEEKEND. MY PARENTS ARE WESTERN LOVERS (COWBOYS, SADDLES ) MY MOTHERS BIRTHDAY IS NEXT WEEK. I GOT PAINT PENS AND STENCILS AND HAVING MY KIDS MAKE THEM WITH A COWBOY SAY ON EACH ONE AND SIGNING THIER NAMES.
I HOPE IT TURNS OUT WELL.

the ones that we just did last week….we put them in for 20 minutes and the freaking marker flaked off when we put food on them :( We used sharpies too…was a total bummer
