I HAVE SEEN THIS ON PINTEREST BEFORE SO I AM DOING MY FIRST TRY THIS WEEKEND. MY PARENTS ARE WESTERN LOVERS (COWBOYS, SADDLES ) MY MOTHERS BIRTHDAY IS NEXT WEEK. I GOT PAINT PENS AND STENCILS AND HAVING MY KIDS MAKE THEM WITH A COWBOY SAY ON EACH ONE AND SIGNING THIER NAMES.
I HOPE IT TURNS OUT WELL.

Are they safe to eat off of?
Yep
the ones that we just did last week….we put them in for 20 minutes and the freaking marker flaked off when we put food on them
We used sharpies too…was a total bummer
Are they dishwasher safe after you decorate and bake them?
No
