If you are in the San Fransisco area this is an attraction that is a must see. I really enjoyed the  Disney Family Museum on many levels since I am a fan of Disney and my love for history ( I majored in History in college )

It was fascinating to see the background of Walt Disney – you really get to understand the “man” behind the company that bares his name. This would be a great day trip – there is even a nice museum cafe where you can pick up a salad or sandwich and enjoy eating it outside ( the view is pretty breathtaking).

Some information about the Museum – open Wednesday through Mondays from 10am to 6pm ( Closed Tuesdays)

$20  – Adults

$15 – Students and Seniors

$12 – Children for kids over 6

Under 6 are FREE 🙂

What I liked is that the   Disney Family Museum is set up so you go through the life of Disney. You learn about his heritage and humble beginnings.

Below is a picture of Walt and his sister Ruth from 1907

I love the menu from Walt Disney’s Studio Restaurant — Fruit Plate was $.40 🙂

Below is a model of what Walt’s plans were in miniature scale! There is also a Walt figurine in the model — so make sure to find it when you go 🙂

Disclaimer  – This was an All-expense paid press trip provided by Disney/Pixar. BUT My opinions are my own.
