What You Need

1/2 pint of grape tomato – cut in half

12 oz of fresh mozzarella – diced into small pieces

10 large basil leaved – cut thinly

1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon of pepper

balsamic vinegar

What To Do

Preheat the oven to 350

In a small casserole dish place all the ingredients together except the vinegar

Bake until the dip is bubbling

Drizzle balsamic vinegar on top

Enjoy with pita chips or bread.

I have been making this dip for years – I find water can be released from the fresh mozzarella during the cooking process — I just use a paper towel to pick up the excess water
