How to Clean Your Humidifier

Many people use their humidifiers more in the winter. The cold dry air requires so mositure, and when kids get the sniffles it can be a parents best friend.

Gunk can build up quickly in a humidifier and it should be cleaned out often. Weekly is great.

When ready to clean, empty out any remaining water, and add a mixture of 1/4 cup white vinegar and 2 cups of tap water. Shake well and dump. If you still see build up you can repeat. For really bad buildup, let soak for a few hours before shaking and dumping.
