Have you ever had one of those “I just peed a little” moments?  It’s funny to say, but it’s not at all fun to experience.  A sneeze or a cough sometimes can create a spontaneous lack of bladder control that can be very uncomfortable and inhibit you by increasing anxiety brought on by self-consciousness.  I like to protect myself, particularly during times of high activity like when I’m spending a day in the kitchen.

Poise FINAL

Working up a sweat and running around the kitchen playing beat the clock can sometimes put my bladder to the test.  That’s why I like to arm myself with Poise Thin-Shape moderate absorbency pads for the comfort I experience during times of high activity and the protection they provide.

There is no extra bulk, but you get all the absorbency of a regular pad in a shape that is 40% thinner!  It also moves with your body because of it’s thin-flex design so you can really feel at ease while the pad actively removes and locks away moisture and odor for up to eight hours.

Poise Rite Aid

I got my Poise at Rite Aid while I was running errands and working on some craft ideas.  The bulk of the package gave me a thought.  I’m always removing products from their original boxes and organizing them in some special way, whether it’s snacks in the pantry or my husband’s coffee.  I had a planter with some potted herbs that did not fare too well, and I was going to throw the whole thing out when it suddenly dawned on me that I could creatively store my Poise in a way that is accessible, pretty and helps me keep inventory so I don’t run out.  I removed the little plastic containers and salvaged the frame for my convenient, decorative basket.   You can do this simple project at home.

All you need is Poise Thin-Shape pads, an open wooden box or crate like the one here, some fabric, scissors, and either a hot glue gun, or super glue.

Just place the fabric in the basket, box, or crate you chose for your frame.  Then mark where you want to cut the fabric and glue it down along the rim.  Stock your newly designed basket and– voila!

It’s super simple and it’s much better than feeling around in a plastic bag in the cabinet.

Do this at home and you can have easy access to your own source of comfort and protection from those awkward moments, so you can focus on the activity you thrive on, whether you are working out, or just out working!
