6 Weeks Pregnant With Twins Update

Sharing is caring!

Note: This post was written at week 10 of pregnancy. I should be caught up with real-life posting soon. Meaning you will see a few week updates within the same week as we catch up.

Wahoo this is the first weekly update! I am technically rockin’ 10 weeks over here and you will be reading this when I am at 14 weeks since we waited to get to the 2nd trimester before making it public. Whew, did any of that make sense? I did keep a log weekly of everything I went through so you will not miss a thing. Especially with a twin pregnancy there is TONS going on!

I will forever remember week 6 as the week my wonderful morning sickness started or what I like to call my all day even waking up in the middle of the night sickness. Even at 10 weeks I am still sick – even right now as I am writing this I am trying not to throw up. But I will get more into that in the 10 week update.

Week 6 was the first real week I knew I was expecting twins. We found out 5 weeks and 5 days. I will have a whole other post about it but I knew I was having twins already – there were signs the biggest one was a huge positive on the pregnancy test close to a week before my missed period.

Here is my little ones at 6 weeks and 3 days for your enjoyment 🙂

Finding out you are having twins is a shock that takes a while to wear off. I remember thinking I am going to need a lot more diapers and realizing that my dream nursery would have to change. But I am so happy that I have two growing in me – it is just going to take a lot more planning.
