23 Weeks Pregnant With Twins Update

Sharing is caring!

This might be the most emotional week of my pregnancy so far. You can read all about it HERE. I will say from that one event I felt like the whole week was a blur – I never been so tired. I love my little ones but I am not in love with the 3 am – 5:30 am kicking sessions – I never thought about that. I thought oh you can sleep a ton until they are born – well that is not true for me. Technically I can nap – but once I am awake my to-do list is so long that I find that I never take that nap. My main goal this week was to get to week 24 since week 24 is considered viability. I need milestones like these to look forward to – I know these two will keep cooking but I needed that confirmation that if they were to be born at week 24 they would have a chance to make it.

This week was big to because I went and had 3d ultrasounds done. I struggled with getting it done in the end because I was worried about getting a non-medical ultrasound done but I was so glad I did especially since my dad went with me to the ultrasound ( Eric was working). My dad had not been to any of the ultrasounds before so this was something special for him. We were able to see the 2 interacting for about 20 minutes – there is TONS of interaction between them that I do not feel. I have a great recording ( the place I went to recorded the whole ultrasound) of the girl making a fist and punching her brother’s back and then falling asleep him. So in all it was an okay week – super emotional week but good.

and here is Baby B

AND HERE is the Baby Bump! It really is starting to hurt if I am up too long.
