Personalized Halloween Bowl

Sharing is caring!

As many of you may already know I got a bunch of these really cool white bowls that I have been having fun decorating. I did some for Watson and then I decided to do some Halloween theming while I’m at it. Nestle sent me a whole lot of their classic sugar candies in variety bags and rather than dole them out to the trick or treaters straight out of the bag, I made another fun craft out of it.

Like I’ve done with Watson’s food bowl, I used permanent markers and stencils to create the look I wanted, then I made sure to bake it in the oven. All you need is permanent markers of your choice colors. Traditionally you’d use black and orange, but green and purple are also popular Halloween colors. Of course an argument can be made for red. I have great stencils that stick on and work really well with the curves of the bowl. Before you get started. Be sure to clean the bowl and let it dry, and preheat your oven to 350. Once your design is done. Back it on a baking sheet for 15 minutes. If you made a mistake, you can easily erase it before you bake, using nail polish remover.

This is a super simple and convenient craft that I like doing because it adds a personal touch to my home that I can’t just get in the store. I’m often busy on Halloween Night. Usually my Dad gives out the candy. Sometimes Eric, but I’ve never been the one to go to the door. I left a bowl out one year because I didn’t want to do it. I know that’s bad, but some kid stole my bowl so…

Anyway, I’m looking forward to it this year. Even though we are not taking the baby’s out, we do have super cute– I mean scary… no I mean cute costumes for them. I’m looking forward to handing out Candy from Nestle’s Jumbo Variety Bags in bowls of my own design. You can get different varieties including your favorite chocolate sweets and sugary treats like Butterfinger, Baby Ruth, SweeTARTS, Nerds and Laffy Taffy.

If you ask me. This bag is the way to go. You can find it in retailers all over the country and the piece count, which is what I always look for first, goes as high as 450! That means that my occasional snacking on the merchandise won’t adversely impact my ability to satisfy the local boys and ghouls. Though they may shriek for more. But that’s the great thing about these Jumbo Variety Bags. They’re for kids of all ages. Eric sneaks a nibble now and then, too, but we still have plenty for Halloween night (fingers crossed).

The affordable choice that will have your whole neighborhood goblin them up is kind of a #throwback to your childhood, because the All Treats, No Tricks 450 piece Variety Bag contains the most classic sugar items including SweeTARTS, Nerds, Laffy Taffy, and Bottlecaps. All of witch are free of artificial flavors and are sure to be the most specter-cular value of the season!
