- Taco Seasoning Recipe
- What You Need
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Mix all ingredients together. Use 2 FULL Tablespoons of seasoning for 1 pound of beef.
- Enjoy
- In a large pot heat up oil --- about 2 - 3 inches
- In a skillet brown the beef - drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning with a little water. Blend well. Take off heat
- Slice avocado into strips - you should get about 10
- Take a wonton wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of cheese, 2 tablespoons of cooked beef and one slice of avocado in the middle of the wrapper
- There should be instructions in the back of the wrappers about how to roll them.
- Use water on all the seams of your roll -- this secures it from opening up
- Once the oil is ready --- cook each one for a few minutes --- it should be nice and golden brown on the outside
- I do not suggest trying to bake this dish --- it really loses a ton of flavor
- Make sure to place each cooked egg roll on a paper towel to soak up the excess oil
- Squeeze some lime juice on each roll ( seriously it takes the whole dish to the next level)
- Serve with sour cream as a dipping sauce
- Enjoy!
