This is my standard marinade and chicken seasoning – simple, fresh, and of course yummy ( oh and it is gluten free to boot!) This recipe really creates yummy chicken with very little effort. No flavor is overpowering BUT there is TONS of it! Very family friendly recipe πŸ™‚ It is extra yummy if you use a grill.

What You Need

1.5 Pounds of Chicken Breast

2 Lemons

1 Lime

1/2 Teaspoon Onion Powder

1/2 Teaspoon Salt

1/2 Teaspoon Pepper

1 Clove of Garlic – Minced

2 Teaspoons of Chopped Cilantro

What To Do

Place Onion Powder, Salt; Pepper in a bowl and mix

Cut the chicken into 2 oz tenders — I use a kitchen scale

Place chicken in a bowl.

Juice lemon and lime in the bowl that has the chicken – I also throw the used lemons and limes in there. Add garlic and cilantro – and mix.

Let the chicken marinate for 10 – 15 minutes.

At medium heat place the chicken on a skillet ( you can use a little oil is you like).

Sprinkle the mix ( salt, pepper, and onion powder) onto both sides of the chicken.

Cook till the chicken is cook — I use a meat thermometer – Chicken is done at 165.

Enjoy!
