Easy jalapeno poppers with bacon recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 Strips of Bacon ( Pork or Turkey)- cut into small strips
  • 5 Whole jalapeno
  • 6 ounces of light cream cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon of paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of onion flakes
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. Slice each jalapeno in half, lengthwise. Using a spoon, scrape out and discard all seeds and any white membrane - this is where all the heat is
  3. In a small bowl combine cream cheese, paprika, garlic powder, and onion flakes - mix well
  4. Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each jalapeno - fill it well
  5. Lay a strip or strips of bacon on top of the cream cheese
  6. Lay the jalapenos on parchment paper lined cookie sheet
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes -- the bacon should be nice and crispy
  8. Enjoy!
