Honeybun Cake Recipe
 
Ingredients
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (8 ounce) carton sour cream
  • ¾ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Frosting
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • ¼ cup Heavy Cream
  • 1.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 9x13 pan
  2. In a medium size mixing bowl - mix cake mix, eggs, oil, water, and sour cream - mix till smooth
  3. In a small bowl mix brown sugar and cinnamon together
  4. Pour cake batter into the pan and top with brown sugar topping - using a fork run it around the cake -- you want to create swirls with the cake batter and brown sugar
  5. Bake cake for 40 minutes
  6. In a small bowl mix sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract - till smooth. Pour icing over HOT cake and allow cake to cool before you serve.
