  • Taco Seasoning Recipe
  • What You Need
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Mix all ingredients together. Use 2 FULL Tablespoons of seasoning for 1 pound of beef.
  • Enjoy
Instructions
  1. In a large pot heat up oil --- about 2 - 3 inches
  2. In a skillet brown the beef - drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning with a little water. Blend well. Take off heat
  3. Slice avocado into strips - you should get about 10
  4. Take a wonton wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of cheese, 2 tablespoons of cooked beef and one slice of avocado in the middle of the wrapper
  5. There should be instructions in the back of the wrappers about how to roll them.
  6. Use water on all the seams of your roll -- this secures it from opening up
  7. Once the oil is ready --- cook each one for a few minutes --- it should be nice and golden brown on the outside
  8. I do not suggest trying to bake this dish --- it really loses a ton of flavor
  9. Make sure to place each cooked egg roll on a paper towel to soak up the excess oil
  10. Squeeze some lime juice on each roll ( seriously it takes the whole dish to the next level)
  11. Serve with sour cream as a dipping sauce
  12. Enjoy!
