Yummy Artichoke Bread
- 1 French Loaf cut length wise
- 14 oz of artichoke hearts ( find it in the canned section) - drained and cut into bite size pieces
- 1 Cup of Medium Cheddar cheese - shredded
- 3 Tablespoons of Butter
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- Pinch of red pepper flakes
- ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- ½ teaspoon of pepper
- ½ Cup of mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1 Cup of Parmesan cheese
- ½ Cup of Sour Cream - Light
- Set your oven to broil
- In a medium size skillet - melt butter oven medium heat. Add garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, garlic powder. Cook for 1 minute
- Add all the cheeses and artichoke hearts to the skillet --- mix until cheese is fully melted. Add sour cream and mix
- Spread mixture on the french bread -- you will have two halves
- Place in the oven for about 5 minutes --- you want the top to be a little brown --- remember not to burn the bread
- Let sit a couple of minutes before slicing
