Tequila Lime Chicken Recipe

- One pound of chicken
- 2 oz of Tequila
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- ½ teaspoon of pepper
- 2 limes ( juiced)
- 2 tablespoons of chopped cilantro
- In a medium size bowl combine tequila, lime juice, pepper, salt, and cilantro.
- Add chicken - mix it around so the chicken is well saturated with the marinade
- Cover and refrigerate from at least 1 hour or overnight
- My favorite way to cook the chicken is on the grill - but you can pan fry or bake it as well
- The heat should burn off the alcohol of the tequila - my mom use to make this when I was a child and there was never a issue
- Gluten - free as well !
