Sweet and Sour Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound of fully cooked crispy chicken strips
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • ½ Cup of Pineapple Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons of Cornstarch
  • ½ Cup of Water
  • ½ Cup of Sugar
  • ½ Cup of Ketchup
  • ⅓ Cup of White Vinegar
Instructions
  1. Bake chicken according to the directions on the packaging
  2. In a saucepan over low/ medium heat combine – pineapple juice, sugar, ketchup, salt, pepper, and vinegar Mix till well combined. In a separate bowl combine water and cornstarch - slowly pour into the pineapple mixture. Mix
  3. Turn off heat and let sit for about 10 minutes
  4. Once chicken is reheated pour the sweet and sour sauce on top — make sure it coats well - it is a thinner sauce but it has A LOT of bang to it
  5. Enjoy
  6. This dish reheats VERY well
