Beer Can Chicken Recipe
 
Ingredients
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • (4 fluid ounce) can of beer or root beer ( use regular)
  • 1 (3 pound) whole chicken
Instructions
  1. Clean chicken - rinse with water and pat dry
  2. In a small bowl combine all the seasoning - take about 1 tablespoon and place inside the chicken cavity
  3. Rub the rest of the seasoning on the outside of the chicken
  4. If you are gluten - free I suggest using gluten - free beer or root beer instead of regular beer
  5. Place the can with the 4 ounce inside the chicken - the chicken should be able to stand up on its own
  6. Place on the grill ( the grill should be around 400 degrees ) cook for about 1 hour and 15 minutes - use a meat thermometer it should be at 180
