Amazing Tri-Tip Recipe
 
Ingredients
  • 2½ lb beef tri-tip roast
  • 2 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon of salt
  • ¼ Cup of Dark Brown Sugar
  • ½ tablespoon paprika
  • 1½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ⅓ cup red wine vinegar
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves crushed garlic
Instructions
  1. In a bowl combine pepper, salt, sugar, paprika, garlic powder, rosemary, cayenne
  2. Rub the seasoning all over the tri-top - cover and place in the fridge for 2 hours
  3. Take the tri-tip out of the fridge and let it rest for 1 hour
  4. In a mason jar place - oil, garlic, Dijon, and vinegar. Shake, shake, and shake some more
  5. Place the tri-tip on a HOT grill and brush oil mixture on both sides - turn over and brush every 5 minutes for about 30 minutes. Make sure to use a meat thermometer you want it to be around 140.
  6. Let the meat rest for 15 minutes before slicing and enjoy!
