Homemade Blueberry Pie Recipe
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- Pinch of salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 cups fresh blueberries
- 9 inch double crust pie - I used a second one to create the lattice you can leave the pie with no cover
- 1 tablespoon butter

- Preheat your oven to 425
- In a large bowl place blueberries, cornstarch, salt, cinnamon, and sugar - mix softly you do NOT want to break the berries
- Place berries into the pie crust -- the berries will burst when cooking so do not worry if it looks like there is a large mound of berries
- Dot the berries with butter - this is when you would make the lattice work.
- Bake pie for about 45 minutes
- Cool and Enjoy!
