Crock Pot Short Ribs Recipe
 
Ingredients
  • 3½ pounds of beef short ribs
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves minces
  • 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1 cup of beef broth ( not pictures)
  • 2 Tablespoon of Flour
  • ½ tsp of pepper
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 2 Tablespoon of butter
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Pinch of Chili powder
  • ½ cup of ketchup
  • 1 Tablespoon of red wine vinegar
Instructions
  1. In a skillet over medium heat melt butter - add onions. In a bag place ribs and flour -- shake - this will help create the crust you want
  2. Place ribs in the skillet and brown each side - sprinkle with salt and pepper - 3 minutes PER SIDE.
  3. Place ribs on the bottom of the slow cooker - place the rest of the ingredients into the crock pot.
  4. Set it to low and let cook for 6 hours. Check out at the 6 hour mark - meat should fall off the bone --- if not tender enough cook for another hour.
