Pecan Coffee Cake Recipe
 
Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • Topping
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 - place pecans onto a cookie sheet and bake for 4 minutes
  2. In a bowl - mix brown sugar, pecans, melted butter and cinnamon - I used a little bit of cinnamon sugar as well
  3. In a large bowl mix all the dry ingredients together - in another bowl mix all the wet - beat the eggs in one at a time - Slowly mix the wet into dry
  4. Once the batter is made spread onto a 9x13 baking pan - it will rise do not worry
  5. Place the pecan topping
  6. Bake for 40 minutes
  7. Enjoy
