Tie Dye Poke Cake
 
Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 2⅓ cups sugar
  • 5 egg whites
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1½ cups Kroger Milk
  • Gel Food Coloring
  • 1 Can of Sweetened Condensed Can Milk
  • Frosting
  • 1 Cup of Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Fresh Berries
Instructions
  1. Cake
  2. Preheat oven to 350
  3. In a stand mixer - cream the butter and sugar together - 3 minutes on medium
  4. Add in eggs, vanilla mix well
  5. In a bowl mix together - flour, salt, and baking powder
  6. Add into the creamed butter - flour mixture and Kroger Milk
  7. Once the batter is mixed well - separate the batter into 4 bowls and add in the food coloring of your choice.
  8. In a greased 9x13 pan - add spoonfuls of the colors ( ½ your batter) - make sure none of the same color are touching. Using a knife - drag the knife around the cake to make a tie dye pattern
  9. Add another layer doing the same thing
  10. Bake for 40 minutes
  11. Allow to cool - poke about 20 holes in the cake and pour the condensed milk
  12. Topping -
  13. In a stand mixer on medium - whip the heavy whipping cream for 5 minutes - add in 1 teaspoon of vanilla if you want a flavor.
  14. Frost the cooled cake - top with fresh fruit.
