Honey-Glazed Carrots
Perfect Simple Side for Any Dinner
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 pounds carrots ( peeled and cut ( make sure to cut them evenly)
  • 1 cup of orange juice
  • ½ cup honey
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  1. Peel and cut the carrots evenly - you do not want uneven cooking.
  2. Add oil to a heated pan - add carrots and cook until they begin to brown - took about 5 minutes for me.
  3. Add salt and pepper ( pinch of each)
  4. Add honey and orange juice
  5. Heat till it boils then reduce heat and cover for 10 minutes. Then cook for another 10 uncovered
  6. You are wanting to be as little liquid remaining ( there will be some but not more then a tablespoon or so)
  7. Serve and Enjoy
