Vegetables With Cream Cheese Sauce

Once you make this dish it will be your go to veggie side
Ingredients
  • 16 ounce package frozen broccoli, cauliflower and carrots
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ½cup parmesan cheese
Instructions
  1. Heat the vegetables up ( do not fully cook them)
  2. Melt butter in saucepan and stir in flour - mix until it is smooth.
  3. Add milk, seasoning, cream cheese and stir until thick.
  4. Pour sauce over the vegetables and sprinkle with cheese.
  5. Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 minutes. For the last 5 minutes I turned on the broiler to brown the cheese.
