Homemade Jalapeno Poppers Recipe
- 12 jalapeno peppers, sliced in half lengthwise, seeds removed
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tablespoons water
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 cups plain dry breadcrumbs
- oil for deep frying
- For Cooking --> Heat oil or you can bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
- Place cream cheese into each half and press the halves back together.
- Combine eggs, water and salt.
- Dip each jalapeno into the egg mixture then breadcrumbs then back into the egg mixture then back into the breadcrumbs.
- Freeze jalapenos for 2 hours
- Fry or bake - enjoy!
