Candied Peanut Recipe

Gluten - Free
  • 2 Cups of Peanuts ( I used dry roasted)
  • 1 Cup of Sugar
  • ⅓ Cup of water
  • sprinkle of salt
  • ¼ Teaspoon of Cinnamon
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a large skillet over medium heat. Mix off and on until liquid is gone - this can take about 7 - 10 minutes.
  2. Reduce to low heat. The sugar will crystallize. A type of syrup will develop - make sure to keep stirring and try and coat the peanuts as much as you can with the syrup.
  3. Peanuts are done depending on what you prefer. You can keep on cooking them until the reach that dark brown color due to the syrup or not.
