This recipe is very easy to make but a great twist for an old classic. Ideal for Valentine’s Day or any day you want a little extra chocolate with your cupcake ( which is everyday right 😉 )
What You Need
Boxed Cake Mix ( and the ingredients needed) – Most likely eggs, water, and oil
1 package of Hershey Kisses
What to Do
Preheat oven at 350 and make the cake mix like you normally do
Pour mix into a measuring cup to fill up cupcake holders easier 🙂
Pour batter into cupcake cups – 3/4 full and place into oven for 5 minutes
Place one Hershey Kiss into each cupcake – bottom of the kiss goes in first.
Let bake for another 13 – 15 minutes. Make sure the cupcakes are fully cooked by sticking in a toothpick – if it comes out clean then you are good.
Here is a cupcake cut in half so you can see the kiss.
The kiss keeps it shape but is soft and gooey
Next I microwave a bunch of Hershey Kisses ( 10 ) to make the topping – I microwave them at 30 second intervals to make sure the chocolate does not burn.
Spoon some chocolate on the top of the cupcakes and you are done.
Enjoy!
