**RECALL ALERT**

Due to “quality concerns”, the makers of Chobani yogurt are recalling some of their products. Customers have complained recently about swelling and bloating after eating the yogurt.

Affected products have the code 16-012 and expiration dates Sept. 11, 2013 – Oct. 7, 2013. Most have been removed already, but if you purchased some that fall into these guidelines, contact Chobani Customer Support.

thank you for posting this! i had one from that lot number – last night! it was puffy when i took it out of the fridge and after about 5 minutes of debating whether or not to eat it, i opted to just throw it out. i checked the numbers from the label this morning — very glad i did. i hadn’t heard about this locally at all. way to go, BSD!

Chobani has definitely downplayed this situation & I would bet my last dollar that it’s more extensive than we know.

I purchased a 18 pack of 6 oz. cups in Peach, Blueberyy & Strawberry from the Costco in Parker, Colorado at the end of August. Same issues … leaky lids, bloated cups, fizzy texture & sour taste.

Mine has a different code number & expiration date:

My husband eats Chobani yogurt for breakfast during the weekdays & I eat it occasionally. I’m definitely switching brands because this appears to be an ongoing problem and Chobani isn’t acting like it’s a major concern.
