Small Business

If you did not know I have a small business apart from my site – Budget Savvy Diva. I have always had a passion making jewelry especially pendant necklaces. I started my ETSY shop ( Go HERE to check it out) last year and I have been selling my jewelry locally as well. For the upcoming holiday season I wanted to add a little something more to each order so I decided to get a DYMO LabelWriter® 450 Value Bundle Pack. Here is a screenshot of my purchase. I bought my DYMO LabelWriter® 450 Value Bundle Pack online but it is also in-store check to see if it is in a store near you.

I was seriously impressed how easy it was to step up DYMO LabelWriter® 450 Value Bundle – literally took me under 5 minutes and I was ready to start printing.Be sure to go check back every week for Staples Daily Deals for special deals on your favorite DYMO LabelWriter® products including DYMO LabelWriter® 450 Bundle, LabelWriter® 450 Turbo, and LabelWriter® 4XL Turbo! The DYMO LabelWriter® 450 Turbo really helps to eliminate the waste of sheet labels ( I have struggled with this in my business). You can even print up to 71 labels per minute! Plus there is tons of customizing you can do – you can even make barcode labels – plus it works on a mac or a pc.

This is what I normally pack with my necklaces. A hand-stamped canvas bag where I place the necklace and a little baggie with a business card and a free charm.

Here is a photo of my biggest seller during the holiday season ( currently still in stock ).

I really wanted to add a personalized label to thank my patrons. I loved the fact that the DYMO LabelWriter® 450 Bundle has clip art you can add easily to the label which is what I did. I then wrote in my name just like I wanted. I really wanted to show in this post that you can go beyond the normal uses for a lablewriter which is printing out labels – use it with clip art to really add a pop to your products.

Here is a screen shot of the main screen you will be working with – I tried to highlight my favorite aspects of the printer. My favorite is the large PRINT button – easy and simple to use plus I love you can choose how many labels you want printed.

Clip Art

My favorite addition to the label is the clip art (  I love adding clip art to pretty much anything). There are tons of clip art options already installed in the program. How to access them is simply choosing the label size you want to use.

Click the insert tab and choose what clip art you want to add to your label. Once you are happy with the placement of everything ( remember you can easily resize everything) click that print button and a few seconds later you have you label!

Now I am fully ready for the huge holiday rush coming. See how much cuter my packing looks with the label now. There was something missing before and now it looks great.

I placed the label onto the baggie that holds the free charm and business card – I really think it adds a whole level of cuteness and I am really happy with the outcome.

Did you know that there is NO INK usage by the DYMO. It is a thermal transfer – so I will be saving money making labels without having to purchase ink.
