Telling My Parents I Am Pregnant

Background Information – After infertility I got a very faint positive pregnancy test ( which my parents knew about) BUT they did not know I took a digital pregnancy test that was positive. I got a blood pregnancy test done – so they came over to be there for the call from the doctor ( well my doctor called 3 hours early) so I was able to surprise them with the news. Hopefully that makes sense – while I got a positive pregnancy test it is a lot different hearing from the doctor that you are pregnant with a high HCG level.

    Congratulations!!! We went through IVF to get pregnant and I remember the call about my high HCG level. I was told that they wanted to see 100 and that would be a viable pregnancy. I almost fell out of my chair at work when she said it was 1360. Turns out there was one baby and a shadow. Best of luck!!

    Congratulations! We went through this last November on our 35th wedding anniversary our middle daughter and her husband came over to tell us we were going to be grand parents! Her younger sister and brother were here to hear the news but her older sister wasnt, so we told her to call her and tell her! She did and told her was she ready to be an aunt? well her sister asked her the same thing! It was on speaker phone so we all heard and we all went crazy with excitement! Both girls had had female troubles pcos and had finally with some treatments became pregnant! Babies were born 11 days apart a boy and a girl, the sun
    shine in our lives!
