Moisturizers I’d Repurchase and Why I Love Them
When I find a moisturizer that works well for me, you can bet I’ll save that empty to remind myself to repurchase it as soon as possible! Moisturizers (and yes, I do mean moisturizers plural because your skin may need different products in different conditions, at different locations, and in different seasons) are such an essential part of your skincare routine that finding a great one is like finding a four-leaf clover.
These are some favorites that I’ve found over the last year and why I love them all so much.

Neutrogena is a brand I’ve been using for a long time now, and I have a few of their products in my current skincare lineup. The Hydroboost moisturizer does precisely what the name says it does — it gives your skin a boost of serious, long-lasting hydration that gives you a silky, soft, and smooth-looking face. If you have a dry skin type, this mild formula is an excellent choice for daily use — both in the morning and before bed.
This moisturizer has a gel consistency, so it is also a great choice if you do not have loads of time for a slow skincare routine — it absorbs quickly with no sticky texture left behind. I wear this under my makeup, which works great as a solid base.

Oh, how I love this face moisturizer! Firstly, I love that the product comes in a glass jar, which is wonderful for the environment and reusable as a storage tub for jewelry or even for keeping bits and bobs on our nightstand. The product is one of my winter favorites, though it is suitable for year-round use. When the weather turns cold, my skin gets extra stressed and needs an extra helping of moisture. This creamy product keeps me hydrated all day, leaving my skin so glowy that I don’t need to wear any foundation!
The key to this product is the time-release hydration that keeps your skin fresh for 72 hours. The rose extract helps to strengthen a stressed-out skin barrier and keeps even more of that precious moisture in there. I have recommended this cream to a few of my friends and they also swear by it.
3. Calm + Restore Facial Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin | Aveeno

Sensitive skin can be a hassle, but it’s much easier to handle if you have targeted products on hand. When my skin is having a moment, I switch out my daily cream for Aveeno’s Calm + Restore moisturizer.
It’s excellent as a daily product for those with sensitive skin, too. Firstly, this product is fragrance-free, which means there’s nothing in there that could irritate your skin further. The gel-like consistency of the product soothes irritated skin as it glides on smoothly and helps to replenish the skin barrier so that the skin can heal and become stronger. If you didn’t know, Aveeno is dermatologist-recommended, so you know everything in there is good for you! Use this product daily, and you’ll see calm, smooth skin before you know it.
4. Honey Halo Ultra-Hydrating Ceramide Moisturizer | Farmacy

The first thing I noticed about this product was the gorgeous, unique (and also reusable) frosted glass packaging, but it’s what’s inside that kept me coming back to it time and time again. The ceramides in the product’s name are helpful little fatty acids that do a lot of work to protect your skin from external damage, improve its moisture barrier, and (my favorite thing) help keep it looking youthful.
This cream is an excellent daily-use product if you want to get a head start on the anti-aging fight. It’ll leave your skin looking soothed, hydrated, plumped, and glowy, and the moisture that the product supplies is locked in thanks to that healthy moisture barrier you now have.
5. Soothing Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid | Sephora Collection

Of course this list wouldn’t be complete without a true bargain, and staple. Keeping my complexion even is something that gives me a pass on wearing a full face of makeup each day, and this Sephora Collection cream has really helped me with that. Working this product into my skincare routine gave me so many benefits — hydration, a release from tight and shiny skin, and soothed, lessened redness — all in one product.
The green pigment in the product really helps neutralize my redness, and the nourishing, calming ingredients help to stop it from coming back by healing irritated skin. The green is subtle and perfectly suitable for wearing under makeup if need be, though you won’t need any complexion products after using this cream for a few weeks! Trust me on that.
These five products are my ride-or-die moisturizers. Each of them has several benefits that — whether you use them daily or sporadically to treat an issue — will contribute to your skin looking the best it has ever looked and feeling even better.
