There is no doubt about it this is “pig out” food :) Can you really go wrong with meat, cheese, and fries?

This recipe is my take on CHILI CHEESE FRIES :)

This recipe helped me get through my college years during finals and I have deemed it the cure all recipe for pretty much everything.

This recipe is Gluten Free ;)

From Budget Savvy Diva’s Kitchen To Yours.

What You Need

1 Tablespoon Butter or Margarine

1 Cup of Diced Onions

1 Minced Garlic Clove

28 Ounces of Frozen French Fries

1.5 Ground Beef

14 Ounces of Pasta Sauce

1/4 Teaspoon of Salt

1/2 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder

1/2 Teaspoon of Onion Powder

1/2 Teaspoon of Chili Powder

1 Teaspoon of Pepper

Cheddar Cheese

What To Do

Heat Oven to 425.

Spread fries onto a baking sheet and bake till golden brown ( about 20 minutes).

Before Baking

Meanwhile – Melt butter in a heat pan and add onions ( cook for 10 minutes) then add garlic and cook for one minute.

Add beef and cook till no longer pink ( discard any excess fat).

Add pepper, salt,  onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, sauce to beef and mix.

In a baking dish ( ideal size is 8×8) place meat

Add a nice layer of the cooked french fries.

Add a “healthy” layer of Cheddar Cheese… More the merrier to me ;)

Stick the baking pan into the oven for about 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
