  • 1 (7 1/2 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/8 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1/2 whole bay leaf

What To Do

Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan. Heat till boils and lower heat to simmer and cover. Cook for 30 minutes – stir occasionally.

Enough sauce for 1 pizza.

Can’t wait to try! I LOVE Pizza Hut! Last night my hubby said I’ve been doing such an awesome job at my new job he’s going to take me there for dinner tonight! Next up- can you come up with a copycat recipe for their AMAZING creamy italian dressing?! That’s something I can never find as good anywhere else!

Might want to try adding some vegetable oil. I worked there for years and we always added oil when we made sauce. Also, we didn’t cook the sauce just let it sit for at least 4 hours but overnight was always better.
