First Tip: Lodging
Make sure to sign up for different resort newsletters you will be clued into amazing deals. After much experience there is a HUGE difference between staying at a decent hotel at a good rate or going to a cheap motel ( not recommended).
BSD usually stays at excalibur : rates range I am looking for between 20 – 50 to stay at this location, note that there is a daily fee around 9.00 tagged on. Every time I have stayed there I have been upgraded. Hint: Make sure to check in later around 7 pm you have a higher chance of being upgraded.
Other hotel recommendations:
– MGM : Great Hotel and you can usually snag it for 50 – 70 each day. It is always a treat to stay here. Again you have an added daily fee which includes a 15.00 beverage credit. So thumps up for a free drink!.
– Not Recommended: – Imperial Palace, Hooters
Drinks:
– BIG TIP: Going to nicer hotels and gambling means 2 things: more frequency of free drinks alcoholic or not & the drinks will be stronger. I love going to Mandalay Bay for this reason. PLUS many resturants allow you to bring in free drinks ( so super score)
– Tip: Many Adult Beverage places have reuseable cups that you can purchase and refill for a more inexpensive price.
Food:
– Utalize Happy Hour:
Budget Savvy Diva LOVE happy hour!!! My favorites are Diego at MGM with 1.25 taquitos with amazing free chips and salsa. Two adults can have a wonderful dinner for less then 7.00! Another is China Grill at Mandalay Bay. They have the MOST amazing sushi. Below is the BEST hands down sushi I have ever had and cannot wait to try more of their sushi. This amazing philiadelphia roll with smoked salmon and pesto ( I know pesto is a little weird) but trust me it is AMAZING and for only 5.50 ! PLUS just by going you will receive a complimentary yummy pot sticker.
Tip: Using Restaurants.com. Using this site really saves you money. There are plenty of Las Vegas restaurants you can buy for a discount. Below is from THE Cafe at Mandalay Bay – Yummy Burger with 1 year old aged cheddar cheese with a Amazing Bun and of course a kosher pickle and truffle fries which all tasted simply amazing PLUS a fresh Caesar Salad
