Nice job! We often travel with our dog on road trips and he doesn’t like to be left alone. (We also have a Prius!) We get carry out from nice restaurants like Outback or Ruby Tuesdays and bring it back to the hotel room. This saves on giving a tip and buying drinks. We always bring at least one big 2 Liter of soda. This prevents us from going to the vending machine and we can drink it when we go to drive-thru restaurants too. We also fill up a bunch of reusable bottles with water from home and put them in our cooler. It is usually hard to find fresh produce when travelling on the highway, so we pack apples, celery, etc. for our snacks too.
