How to Store Onions So They Last Longer

It may sound a little weird, but onions will last longer if they are stored in a pair of pantyhose. You can get a new pair from the dollar store and it will help keep your onions fresh longer.

Tie a knot in the leg of pantyhose between each onion. Store in a dry, dark place when possible. Even better if you can hang them up.
