I am really feeling the crunch. I feel like these babies could be born any day, now and there is still so much to do in preparation. We have gone to a few classes which sent my head spinning over everything the babies are going to need. One preparedness step we were able to get out of the way was installing the car seat. I never realized how serious proper car seat installation was, or that nearly half of infant car seats are installed incorrectly. Nearly half?!
Then I found out that car seats can be confusing, but babies’ safety in the car is too important to flip a coin and hope for the best. That’s why I was so happy to find out about the new Graco® SnugRide® SnugLock™ 35 DLX Infant Car Seat. It eliminates the guesswork of properly installing your baby’s car seat by giving a comforting “click” sound that signals when your car seat is secure. It really feels so good to hear that click and to know after three easy steps that the seats that are going to bring our children home are installed properly.
The bubble level indicator is easy to read and shows you the recline angle to adjust the car seat to for baby. The spring loaded adjustable recline has four positions. Even better, the design is for comfort in addition to safety. The fabric is smooth and the Silent Shade canopy protects baby’s eyes from the sun. This is a convenience thing for me, but I can also adjust the handle with just one hand.
I had a lot of anxiety about chalking this one off my to do list. Now that the seats are locked in, Eric and I are even more excited to bring home the twins. Find out more about the car seats here.
