Apply for FREE NASA Moon Tree Seedlings! NASA’s Next Gen STEM project in partnership with USDA Forest Service is offering K-12 organizations located in the contiguous United States an opportunity to apply to own their very own Moon Tree seedling!
How to Apply
- Review the Moon Tree Seeding Application Guide to complete your submission. Note: there is a required supplemental form for applicants in addition to the artifacts module process.
- Visit NASA’s Artifact Module website to begin the process of applying for a seedling by creating an account or click here. You must create a NASA Guest Account if you have a non-NASA Identity. The Moon Trees team and USDA Forest Service will review every application submitted to determine the viability to successfully host a seedling. You will not be able to select the species of tree seedling the Forest Service will decide based on geographical region in the contiguous United States.
- Register with NASA Connects to utilize the specially created Moon Trees group community of practice and collaborate with other Moon Tree Recipients.
