Oh Netflix …..

I am going to tell you a little story.

About a week ago I got the need to watch Speed – mainly because I have not seen it in about 15 years.

My husband and I went to our local Blockbuster ( yes we have nearby still ) and there was no luck. The kind sales lady said that the computer says they have a copy but she had no idea what happened to it.

So I went to my trusty Netflix to order Speed — I have been tracking it for a couple days now and finally it was going to be here today

and this is what I got

The disc is completely broken — I can only imagine what happened. It actually had tape on it from the last viewer

So my need for Speed still goes unfilled…. Sigh – I contacted them and I should get another copy in a couple of days.

We have streaming but Speed is not on there

I just have to laugh about it all 🙂

    we actually just cancelled our Netflix. We have had it for 4 months and are completely burnt out on the offerings they have. Sorry about your movie! Maybe the local Walmart has it in their $5 bin?

    Redbox now has streaming plus 4 box rentals for 8.00 a month plus tax… so far I like it! Good luck getting your movie! 🙂

    Amazon has it on streaming for $2.99! Also, if you are a Prime member, they have lots of freebie vids. Worth a look see : )

    sorry that happened to you! i just saw a picture of someone who rented “unbreakable” and the dvd came in BROKEN.. talk about irony lol! wish i had the picture but i can’t find it at the moment

    I really like Red Box. I just get the ones at the box. But if you text them at 727272 they sent you deals, I have gotten 4 dvd rentals FREE codes and a couple discounts. Granted you can only get what is available still a good deal if you can remember to return them the next day. And when I have had trouble, once a dvd not playing through the whole movie, they gave me 3 free rental codes for it.

    oh and one time 2 boxes were down and not taking returns. I still got it back on time but drove around a bit, they gave me 3 free rental codes for the extra trouble too!
