Basketball OREOS Cookies and REESE’s Snack Mix Recipe

Basketball is huge at my house – I love being able to transform snacks that I already love into fun edible snacks. I thought because College Basketball season is in full wing that this would be the perfect theme for my snacks.

I went to Target to get all my supplies – to help you out I took photos of where I found everything in the store 🙂
I found the OREO Cookies in the cookie section
In the drink ( soda section ) I found Coke Zero ( which is one of my favorite soda’s EVER) You Don’t Know Zero ‘Til You’ve Tried It. Coke Zero and Target will allow consumers to try a Coke Zero through “Drinkable” advertising which takes traditional advertising elements and makes them actually drinkable – leading to a free 20oz. And The REESE’s Mini Peanut Butter Cups ( which are SO good — I have bought a few bags since my first purchase) I found in the candy section.There will be a REESE’S coupon on the Cartwheel App from 3/15 – 4/4
The first fun recipe I decided to make was the REESE’s Snack Mix – I really wanted to do a mixture of sweet and salty ( which is an awesome snack combination)
To Make This Mix You Will Need About 2 Cups of Mixed Nuts, 2 Cups of REESE’S Peanut Butter Cups Minis and 2 Cups of Pretzels
Just mix all these ingredients together and YOU are DONE!
Now my favorite yummy recipe I came up with is OERO’s Cookies Basketballs – this is perfect craft recipe that kids can help make
You are going to need the following – Orange Candy Melts, 20 OREO Cookies and Black Gel Icing
Melt the candy melts then dip each OREO cookies – make sure they are completely cover – allow the chocolate to set in about 1 hour
Take the black gel and make 3 lines down the OREO cookie
Then one line across the three and you are done!
