I have to say I am pretty proud of myself for this beach scene. When I was a child I use to play with my food. Give me some mashed potatoes and I am content for hours. When I was asked to figure out a fun way to get some mixins into the Snack Packs I thought it would be fun to do something that embodies warmer weathers.
If you did not know I grew up in sunny southern California and I spent every summer at the beach – so I thought it would be fun to make a beach scene.
Fun Fact – One snack pack contains the same amount of calcium as an 8 oz glass of milk.
I went to my local Walmart to find everything I needed for this recipe
I love how frugal Snack Packs are – plus they are super easy to open and yummy. Plus Walmart makes it so convenient since I was already there ( let’s face it I am at Walmart almost everyday)
I found that Snack Packs in the snack section at my Walmart – I love the variety as well. I chose Vanilla since I thought it would work best for a beach scene
This is everything I used – it was very easy to put everything together – I used a candy strip for the towel, but you could use fruit leather and cut it to size.
I place the graham crackers into my food processor and set it low for about 2 minutes – I really wanted the result to look like sand – I used about 1/4 Cup of “sand” for each Snack Pack
Then you can add your “beach ball” mint and beach towel or anything else you want in any combination
When is the last time you went to the beach? What type of Snack Pack Mixins would you use?
