Scotch™ Essentials easy no sew solutions can help you with any fabric project. To demonstrate I made a spooky vampire cape for Watson with only two pieces of fabric, a length of ribbon and Scotch™ Essentials. This is a great tip for how to easily add a little bit of DIY to this year’s Halloween costumes.
I picked the traditional black for the outside of the cape and red for the lining. Then I cut the shape of the cape to size. The application is simple. I fixed the Scotch™ Essentials Permanent Hem Bonding Strips to the edges of the cape and applies the red fabric to the black with amazing results.
Leaving some room on top for the collar, I used a few dabs of hot glue to fix a long enough ribbon in place to tie around Watson’s neck in a bow. Then I simply snipped away the excess.
The end result was one ghoulishly charming kitty.
