Cold and flu season is approaching here!  As if the pharmacy signs advertising flu shots wasn’t an indicator, we are knee deep in that time of year where kids exposure to germs and contagion at school amplifies the spread of stuffy and runny noses, coughs, fevers, nausea, etc.  Usually around winter time Eric buys cough and cold medicine when he’s not even sick.  That’s because I’ve sent him to Walmart to get something for me, and it’s usually in the middle of the night.  Not this year?  I am determined to be prepared, especially when it comes to prevention.  I chose to be proactive this season by stocking up on Centrum vitamins to help support our immunity, and Chapstick® for lips protect them from high exposure to the elements. I picked up everything I needed at Walmart.

I’m a gummy girl. Vitamins are just better when they taste great; But Centrum® Multi-Benefit MultiGummies® for adults are my favorite, because they are the most advanced of the leading men’s and women’s gummy multivitamins. New Centrum® MultiGummies® for Men and Women. So advanced, they have more Vitamin D3 than any other men’s or women’s gummy^. ^Among leading men’s and women’s gummy multivitamins.

Even better, I like to refresh myself with Centrum® Vitamints®. Centrum Vitamints®: Essential nutrients you enjoy like a mint, including 100 % or more of Vitamins C, D, E, and B6.

Chapstick is skincare for lips™.  It moisturizes and softens for smooth lips every day.  I like to incorporate that into our routine.  When I pack Eric’s lunch I now include a little preparedness kit to help keep him healthy. You are going to need a case of some kind – I am re-purposing a craft organizer I had. I added in a couple other items in the kit – like bandages and alcohol swabs – but you can add what you want. I also always make sure to fill a bag with fresh fruit to his lunch so he is not tempted to eat a unhealthy snack from the vending machine.

I just package some essential first aid with an adequate supply of Centrum MultiGummies to keep his vitamin intake up and a chapstick to keep his lips from drying and cracking.  Once everything is added your kit is done – it is very simple but extremely effective.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, so his lunches are lighter weight than they would be otherwise.
