My kids loved making these very inexpensive wreaths for gifts to their grandparents.

It was rather tedious and my little one got bored and had me finish it. We used about 20 sheets of tissue paper cut into strips (1 1/4″ x 6″) we bent a wire hanger into a circle to form the skeleton of the wreath. you then fold strips in half around the hanger and twist them closed leaving a little tail which will represent the leaves. you continue this all the way around the hanger until you are finished. we put a bow on the bottom that i made with ribbon that was lying around. and printed out one of their pictures from our computer and hung it inside the wreath on one side was the picture and on the other was a message (merry christmas nanny and the date)

How cute is this craft!
