How to Get Rid of a Stubborn Toilet Bowl Ring
If you have a stubborn toilet bowl ring, cut off a piece of a Mr Clean Magic Eraser and let it sit in the bowl overnight.
Magic! You will have to scrub it a bit though 😉

    The ring in my toilet bowl is above the water level. Does anyone know a good way for me to plug the bowl so water doesn’t gradually leak out the bottom when I fill it with more water?

      Sounds like you have a leak in your toilet put some food dye in your tank. If the water in your bowl turns that color you have a leak! You need to replace the flapper. See: How to Fix a Running Toilet. It will save you water & money.

    Use a Pumice stone, it will not scratch the enamel either, a Pumice stone is really a soft stone, my toilet had rust stains and my Brother in law who is a Plumber told me about it…good luck

    I use extra fine sand paper. Just lower the water line by plunging and rub gently with the sand paper and a non abrasive cleaner. It’s softer then pumice and will bend to the sahpe of your bowl.

    I tried the Mr Clean Magic Eraser to get rid of stains in the toilet bowl. It worked but do not flush the piece of magic eraser down the toilet as I did. I’m still trying to get my toilet to flush properly!

    Another useful cleaner in the toilet tank is use LimeAway and use your toilet bowl brush. If it still has a ring use a bit of bleach after you have flushed the LimeAway . Don’t mix cleaners . Can have a (Gass) tly effect that can send you to the hospital. Then if you still have rings after that there is a powder that you can put in your salt tank for softening your water and removing rust and lime you can purchase in your hardware store. I sometimes take a cup fill it halfway with this powder and set it down into the dry tank and as it flushes it tends to remove those stuborn lime deposits in the bowl. Each of these seem to work fine on their own however, if your toilet is extreme use all three or just buy a new toilet.
